He told the magazine that when he was a sophomore, he received as much as six pounds of vacuum-sealed, Mylar-wrapped pot in the mail every month.
Sports Illustrated reports that he told an interviewer he drove to Dallas, Austin and San Antonio to sell it.
Gordon played for the Bears between 2009 and 2011.
He was arrested for possession in 2010 and was suspended in July 2011 after failing a drug test.
In October, in a mini-documentary, Gordon said an assistant football coach helped him pass drug tests by providing him with bottles of a detoxification substance.
Gordon played 22 games in two seasons at Baylor and totaled 43 receptions for 721 yards and seven touchdowns.
His struggles have continued in the NFL to which he was reinstated in October after a three-year suspension stemming from violations of the league’s substance abuse policy.
Earlier this month he told GQ magazine he drank or smoked marijuana before games.
