BURLESON COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) A fiery gas line break Wednesday sent flames into the early-morning sky in Burleson County near Lake Somerville.

Crews responded to the area along County Road 132 near Deanville at around 3 a.m. Wednesday.

An Energy Transfer gas company crew said the fire would be allowed to burn itself out and by around 10 a.m. it had.

Residents in the area reported seeing an orange glow in the sky from several miles away as the fire burned.

No one was injured, but about 40 people were left without power after a utility pole caught on fire because of the blaze.

CR 132 was closed until the fire burned out, but was reopened by around 10 a.m.
