Debby Degraff is a science lab teacher at Bell's Hill Elementary and recently named Region 12 Elementary Teacher of the Year.

After graduating from Belton High School as senior class president in 1982 Craig Sullivan decided to stick around for a bit. Sullivan has since been teaching at Belton High for 31 years as a construction science teacher.

About 65 students with the National Baptist Convention's Bounce program traveled across the state to fix some Waco homes up for free.

The MAC college money program through the Waco Foundation awarded 69 local students scholarship on Tuesday.

The Lake Air Little League team are now state champs after beating the Helotes in Abilene.
