KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Killeen police say they think a woman and two men robbed or attempted to rob four local convenience stores early Tuesday morning.

“Detectives believe all four incidents involved the same suspects,” police spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez said in a press release Tuesday afternoon.

The first robbery was reported just after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at the 7-Eleven store at 1001 Willowsprings Rd.

The clerk told officer that the woman and two men, who were armed and wearing black and gray hooded sweatshirts, entered the store, demanded cash and ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Just after 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, another robbery was reported, this time at the Mickey’s Store at 2101 South W.S. Young Dr.

The woman and two men who robbed the store were armed and were wearing black and gray hooded sweatshirts.

About 20 minutes later, officers were sent to the 7-Eleven store at 620 South Fort Hood St., where a woman and two men wearing black and gray hooded sweatshirts approached the clerks, but then fled empty-handed, Smith said.

Then just after 6:30 a.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven store at 3600 Clear Creek Road where the same thing happened.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS.
