Limestone County: Deputies seize pound of pot, batch of Ecstasy pills

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) A large amount of drugs and money was seized by deputies in Limestone County overnight.

According to Sheriff Dennis Wilson, about one pound of marijuana, more than 60 grams of Ecstasy pills and hundreds of dollars in rolled-up cash were found after deputies searched a man’s vehicle near Lake Mexia Tuesday night.

Corporal Waller and Deputy Jake Willett were responding to a suspicious persons call.

The suspect was arrested for narcotics possession and transported to the Limestone County Jail.
