KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) An armed man riding a stolen motorcycle led Killeen officers on a chase Wednesday morning, fled into a home and briefly refused to come out.

The chase started just before 10 a.m. Wednesday after officers tried to stop the man for speeding at the intersection of W.S. Young Drive and Veterans Memorial Boulevard.

The pursuit ended in the 2900 block of Boyd Avenue, where the man fled into the home.

Officers ordered him to come out.

Initially he refused, but after about five minutes he surrendered.

He had a gun, police said, but no further details were provided.

The motorcycle was reported stolen earlier in Killeen.
