The "March for Babies" hosted by the March of Dimes took place Saturday evening with more than 500 walkers in attendance.
KWTX is a proud sponsor of the march which supports funding for research, vaccines, education and medical breakthroughs to help premature babies and their mothers.
News 10's own Troy Hein emceed the march.
"It's about raising awareness, and it's also letting them know that there are people within their community that know what they've experienced and know what they've gone through," says Ginny Rosario-Hall, Development Manager at March of Dimes.
"They're there to love and support them, and that's what we're here for too," she says.
This year, the organization has raised more than $100,000 to fund research for health threats to premature babies and support families through difficult pregnancies.
