COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KWTX) At least three people were injured during a brawl Monday night in College Station that police say started out as a family fight and then grew to include somewhere between 40-50 people.

Around 6 p.m. Monday officers responded to the Southgate village apartments off of Luther Street after receiving reports of a large fight in the parking lot.

When they arrived, they found dozens of people armed with knives and firearms and multiple people with cuts and stab wounds.

Because of the number of people involved, the reports of multiple weapons, and the hostility displayed by many of the people still at the scene, additional officers from nearby agencies were requested to assist the College Station officers on scene.

Officers from Texas A&M PD, Brazos County SO, and Bryan PD responded to assist.

The apartment complex and Luther Street were closed for a short time, but everything is now back open.

According to College Station Police, three people were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

All of the injured are expected to recover.

Officers have identified several persons of interest from this incident but no arrests have been made.
