Police release identities of mother, daughter killed in massive I-35 crash in Waco

WACO, Texas (KWTX) The identities of the final two victims of Tuesday’s deadly crash on I-35 in Waco have been released.

The mother and daughter killed in one of the passenger vehicles involved have been identified as Karen Bargainer and Jennifer Cludius, Waco Police said Friday night.

Their families have been notified of the deaths.

According to Bargainer's husband's Facebook page, Bargainer and Cludius were traveling from New Braunfels.

Their family said a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 22 at Oakwood Baptist Church in New Braunfels. A reception will follow at First Methodist Church of New Braunfels in the Wesley Hall.

Police identified the third victim, Eugene Garfield Watts III, of Arlington, on Thursday.

Four semi-trucks and two passenger vehicles were involved in the deadly accident.

Watts was driving one of the 18-wheelers.

On Tuesday, Waco Police had said three people, including one male truck driver, and a woman and child (possibly a pre-teen) in one of the passenger vehicles, were killed.

Five others including three truck drivers, and two males who were in the other passenger vehicle, did survive.

Waco's police and fire crews were out working another wreck further north on the interstate when they got dispatched to the crash around 2:15 p.m.
