WACO, Texas (KWTX) A Waco man was held Wednesday in the McLennan County Jail after an examination of a repossessed cellphone turned up images of child pornography.

Patrick Garcia, 36, was ordered held on bonds totaling $120,000, charged with six counts of possession of child pornography, online jail records showed.

Garcia was arrested Tuesday after police obtained a search warrant for his cellphone.

Police said members of the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force and officers from the Waco Police Department's Crimes Against Children unit arrested Garcia at a Waco hotel at Interstate 35 and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Officers initiated an investigation after employees at a Waco rental business called to report they’d found several child pornography videos on a rented cell phone that was repossessed because of nonpayment, police said.

The videos showed girls around the age of 5 engaging in various acts including one with an animal, police said.
