Restaurant Report Card for week of February 1

(KWTX) Fans of Sushi 1 Japanese Restaurant on Rancier Avenue in Killeen will be shocked to hear that rodent droppings were found in the flour room.

The owner was told to hire a company to come, and in the meantime sweep away the droppings.

They need to clean around prep table area and repair a drain. The restaurant scored a 97.

Inspectors stopped by Killeen High School last month and gave them a 98.

They found mold in a white plastic ice machine and said the vents had a build-up of oil residue and need to be cleaned.

They also have to get a leaky faucet repaired by the ice machine.

This week's Clean Plate award goes to Silos Baking Co. located at the Magnolia Silos in Waco. The got a perfect score on their past three inspections.
