INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (CBS) A Little Caesar’s restaurant in Indiana was temporarily closed this week after a man said he found rat or mice droppings baked into a pizza, Indianapolis CBS affiliate WTTV reported

intersection of 22nd St. and Meridian St.,

The man and his girlfriend purchased the pizza at the restaurant near the intersection of 22nd Street and Meridian Street near downtown Indianapolis, but then discovered something was amiss, the station reported.

They returned to the restaurant for an explanation, and then called police.

Officers suggested he contact the county health department.

An inspector arrived to conduct an emergency inspection, and temporarily suspended the restaurant’s license, the station reported.

“We did find that there were rodent droppings and violations that warranted us doing a license suspension,” the station quoted Janelle Kaufman with the Marion County Health Department as saying.

By the next morning, the problems had been corrected.

The restaurant’s managers declined to comment, the station reported.
