TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) Police in Temple are investigating two home invasions, both of which involved three suspects.
The first occurred at around 2 a.m. last Friday in the 300 block of South 24th Street.
The residents told officers they were asleep when the suspects entered through what a police report describes as “an unlockable front door.”
The three suspects kicked open the door of the bedroom, pointed guns at the victims and demanded unspecified items, the police report says.
When the suspects failed to find what they were looking for, they fled.
The only thing that appeared to have been taken was a cellphone.
The second occurred Sunday in the 2400 block of South 31st.
The resident told officers she and her boyfriend were asleep when three masked men entered the home, a police report says.
The suspects attacked the boyfriend, hitting him several times in the head with a black handgun, the report says.
The woman was not attacked.
Officers found damage to the front door.
Further details weren’t available.
