Temple: Suspect sought after shots fired call that led to school lockdown

TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) Officers responded last Wednesday to reports of gunfire in the 500 block of South Knob Street and determined that the two suspects in the incident had fled.

Nearby Meredith Dunbar Elementary School was placed on a soft lockdown during the search for the pair.

A 14-year-old boy was later arrested in connection with the incident and a warrant has been issued for Costrinia West charging aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, police said Monday.

No one was injured in the incident.
