WACO, Texas (KWTX) Two men, at least one of them armed with a handgun, held up an East Waco business late Sunday night at gunpoint and made away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police were sent a little before midnight to the Davis Food Mart, at 504 Faulkner Lane, after a caller reported the store had been robbed, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

The clerk told officers a man walked into the store, pulled a handgun and demanded money from the register.

Swanton said the clerk told officers another man stayed outside the building and acted as a look out.

The gunman stood about 6-feet tall and wore a hooded sweatshirt and a bandana over his face.

The second suspect was about 5-feet, 8-inches tall and also wore a hooded sweatshirt and a bandana.

Both men were of medium build, Swanton said.

The two bandits left the store on foot and officers were not able to locate them, but the search continued on Monday, Swanton said.

No one was injured in the hold-up, and no arrests have been made, Swanton said.
