Waco: Fish free at the Wetlands

WACO, Texas (KWTX) The Lake Waco Wetlands hosts a free community fishing day Saturday.

The event is from 9 a.m. to noon at Nora’s Pond in the wetlands.

Children younger than 17 don’t need fishing licenses, but adults do and the adult licenses must have fresh water stamps.

Only poles and line are allowed and there’s a two-pole-per-person limit.

A limited quantity of rods and reels are available for loan.

Anglers are limited to five fish.
