WACO, Texas (KWTX) A federal judge has set a trial date for a lawsuit filed by a Baylor student over an alleged off-campus assault.

The plaintiff, identified only as Jane Doe, alleges she was drugged and sexually assaulted in February 2015 at the so-called Rugby House in the 600 block of Columbus Avenue in Waco.

The suit, which is set for trial on May 14, 2018, does not identify any alleged attackers, but says the one known attacker was not a member of the rugby team.

No rugby players lived at the home at the time, according to a Baylor spokesman.

Rugby is a club sport at Baylor and does not fall under the purview of the athletic department, but instead the Division of Student Life, which the woman's lawyers say shows that the alleged sexual assault is the result of institution-wide failure.
