Waco man indicted in drive-by shooting

WACO, Texas (KWTX) A Waco man has been indicted by a McLennan County Grand Jury Wednesday in a drive-by shooting last September.

Kevin Marquis Duffey, 36, was indicted on an Aggravated Assault enhanced charge after a police report stated Duffey attempted to kill a known acquaintance near midnight on September 1st.

According to the police report, a man was sitting on a porch of a home at 3022 Parrot Street in North Waco when a vehicle pulled up at the house, a window was rolled down and the suspect started firing at the victim at close range.

The victim escaped injury.

Duffey's indictment today carries an is enhanced charge after a 2013 felony conviction in Brazos County.
