Waco police investigate aggravated robbery that left one man shot

WACO, Texas (KWTX) Waco Police are investigating an aggravated robbery that left one man shot early Saturday morning.

According to Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton, a man robbed a male victim at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Alon convenience store located on 2429 West Waco Drive around 2:15 a.m.

Police said the victim "struggled with the suspect over the gun and then fled".

The suspect then shot at the victim twice hitting him in the leg and once in the chest.

The victim was taken to Hillcrest for his injuries.

Police said the suspect was wearing a dark shirt and jeans. He has not been arrested.
