Baylor men optimistic leading up to Big 12 tournament

WACO, Texas The Baylor men's basketball team heads into the Big 12 tournament with plenty of optimism knowing they control their own destiny if they win.

Scott Drew has been saying for weeks that as long as the Bears are still playing, their fate is in their own hands. He reiterated that sentiment ahead of the Big 12 tournament this week.

Baylor is a team on the bubble and there are some experts that believe they need one more win to get into the NCAA Tournament. That win will have to come against a good West Virginia team that already has two wins over Baylor this season.

Baylor and West Virginia meet in the quarterfinals on Thursday night at 8pm Central time.
