Baylor's Lual-Acuil 'game-time decision' for No. 16 TCU

WACO, Texas (KWTX) Baylor senior Jo Lual-Acuil is still questionable for the Bears' Big 12 home opener Tuesday against TCU because of a sprained left foot.

The 7-footer sat out Baylor's 77-53 loss at Texas Tech, who held the rebounding margin over the Bears 39-23.

"Obviously, not having the best center in the Big 12 hurts, but it's not an excuse to play like that," junior guard Jake Lindsey said. "We'll be glad to have him back.

"Credit Texas Tech because they made a lot of shots, but it was more communication and rebounding than it was physicality one-on-one."

TCU (12-1, 0-1 Big 12) is the top-ranked team in the Big 12 regarding rebound margin, pulling down an average of 9.2 rebounds more than their opponents.

"If we rebound like we did the last game, we'll see similar results," Baylor guard King McClure said. "They have about four or five people that average four rebounds per game. We definitely have to keep them off the glass and we have to defend."

Baylor (10-3, 0-1 Big 12) has won 11 straight games over TCU, with the Horned Frogs' last win coming in 2002.
