Lady Bears edge Oklahoma to stay perfect in Big 12 play

WACO, Texas The Baylor Lady Bears had their hands full with Oklahoma at home Monday night but earned a close win 74-65 to stay perfect in Big 12 play this year.

The Lady Bears were led by Lauren Cox who had a huge first half on her way to a career high 24 points. Cox also grabbed 7 rebounds for the Lady Bears in the game. Dekeiya Cohen added 13 points for the Lady Bears and Kalani Brown added 10 despite some second half foul trouble.

The Lady Bears were in control for the first half of the game but Oklahoma rallied in the second half, pulling even at 60-60 in the fourth quarter. The Lady Bears outscored Oklahoma 14-5 to close out the game after that tie.

With the win the Lady Bears improve to 12-0 in Big 12 play and 22-1 overall this season.
