The Mexia Ladycats looked strong in their non-district showdown against La Vega, getting the win, 46-31.
Mexia controlled this one throughout, and with the win pushed their record on the year to 18-6.
Up next for Mexia is a road contest against Fairfield on Friday, while La Vega will travel to Connally.
