The Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo’s main goal is to educate through entertainment and agricultural experiences.

The Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo, presented by H-E-B, has awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships since 1995.

Each spring the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo awards scholarships to area youth who compete through the submission of application and essay.

In addition, during the Fair & Rodeo in October, many young people compete in various events to win scholarships.

The Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo Sweethearts take part in the Miss Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo competition to win the title and scholarship money.

Creative Arts & Education will offer numerous opportunities for the youth of McLennan County to earn scholarships with their creative talents by competing in events such as Western Heritage Art, photography, Academic Rodeo events and much more.

Scholarship opportunities are also available through competition in our livestock shows.

The Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo is continuing to prepare the next generation to lead us into the future.
