This is about the 1% wealthy and the 99% hardworking middle income taxpayers bailing out the rich shareholders of these Banks who as Ron Paul said in his speech to the U.S. House of Representatives on 10-20-08 "...The Federal Reserve and Treasury constantly brag about the need for transparency and oversight, but it's all talk--they want none of it. They want secrecy while the privileged are rescued at the expense of the Middle Class. It is unimaginable that Congress could be so derelict in it's duty. ...All Members of Congress and all Americans should be outraged....The whole bail out process was characterized by no oversight, no concerns, no understanding, no concerns, and no common sense."'Wake up people and stop letting someone else make the decision for YOU!! ...for those who understand political power is controlled by those who control the money supply" I agree with Ron Paul in that the choice we face is ominous!

Who cares? There are 1000 banks in little 'ol Waco. Too many actually. There are probably many more who aren't making money. Just taking up space. The procedure in Waco seems to be that whenever one business opens, two close.

It's easy, out of anger over the financial crisis, to say "let it fail"; however, failure will only hurt the hard working people who have saved for retirement or perhaps a child’s college education or maybe their first home. It’s not the powerful people who made bad decisions that will pay the price for failure. They will come out of this smelling like a rose. It’s common everyday people like you and me who are just working for an honest living and trying to put a little money aside. People in our community will loose their financial security and their jobs. When a business fails, it’s a loss to everyone. We are robbed of our peace of mind and security.

I've done business with both First Federal, and Guaranty for over 30 years, and know the local people working there personally. You people that have the negative comments do 'not' realize what might/would/could happen if they do not get some help. And the Nation wide Guaranty bank is like some of the other Major banks that have already received help from the Government. The Economy has caused most of the Banking problems. And I do 'not' think we need this problem locally. Because I have witnessed a few Banks that closed, and have seen 'all' the problems that it has caused('all' loans are called in (due), and have to be paid off). FDIC backs up your money/savings). So I hope/pray they get the help they need on loans.

While they are at it,why don't they go ahead and give us all a bailout??? That away we can all have a fresh start...You know the american people, the ones that got hurt the most from all this mess in the first place, the one's that suffered the most form all these big corporations, from all their greed...
