Wife Of Fort Hood Soldier Charged In On-Post Shooting
The 29-year-old wife of a Fort Hood soldier was charged with attempted murder Friday after her husband was shot during a domestic dispute at a post housing area.

WACO (March 19, 2010)--Latarsha Barnes, 29, of Fort Hood, appeared before a U.S. Magistrate Friday in Waco and was charged with attempted murder in a shooting that left her husband Kendall Barnes, a Fort Hood soldier, injured.
She was held Friday in the McLennan County Jail.
The FBI is investigating the shooting, which was reported at around 10 a.m. Thursday in a post housing area at Fort Hood.
Latarsha Barnes was arrested Thursday.
Information about her husband’s condition wasn’t available Friday.
Other details weren’t immediately released.

WHAT I DONT REALLY UNDERSTAND IS WHY THEY PUT HER STORY OUT LIKE THAT WITHOUT KNOWING FACTS...I MEAN IT COULD OF BEEN A NUMBER OF REASONS WHY SHE SHOT HIM WHICH IT DOES'NT JUSTIFY THE SHOOTING I DONT CONDONE ANY TYPE OF VIOLENCE BUT IT COULD OF BEEN SELF-DEFENSE. ANY MEASURE OF SELF DEFENSE MAYBE HE THREATENED TO KILL HER OR SHOOT HER IT WILL COME OUT .

Coming from one that personally knows Latarsha Royal Barnes, in reference to all of the negative comments and or personal judgements, if you weren't there then keep your opinion to yourself. To know her is to love her and she was not a "thuggish" person. She is a human being just like everyone else and she had problems just like everyone else. There isn't a person on this earth that is perfect or without fault,so before you judge and or criticize her for something that you know nothing about just remember....she is somebody's daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. I think that it's also safe to say that we all have done something once upon a time in our lives that we aren't exactlty proud of. What I am sure about is the fact that my father in Heaven says that he want leave nor forsake us and that the will of God won't ever take you where his grace won't protect you. To LaTarsha and the family, you are in my prayers and just keep your eyes towards the hills...
