KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Seveon Davonte Thompson, 28, was in the Bell County Jail Wednesday charged with aggravated robbery after a Killeen woman was robbed at gunpoint as she walked to her mother’s house.

His bond is set at $70,000.

The woman was walking Friday on 10th Street in Killeen when a man wearing a sweatshirt with a white hood approached, produced a gun and took her cellphone state identification card and money, police said Wednesday.

The victim told officers the man had a long gun and a handgun and said he pointed the long gun at her when he demanded her belongings.

Officers spotted Thompson leaving an apartment during a search of the area, police said.

They got the permission of his girlfriend to search the apartment and recovered two firearms as well as the stolen cellphone, police said.
