LLANO, Texas (KWTX) Half of a small Texas police force is on paid suspension as of Sunday.

CBS affiliate KEYE confirmed with Llano County District Attorney Sony McAfee that three people employed by the Llano Police Department are suspended pending an ongoing investigation.

The three new suspensions, including police chief Kevin Ratliff, are in addition to a previous one in November 2017, when a grand jury issued a six-count indictment for an officer then.

McAfee told KEYE he believes the Llano County Sheriff's Office will be able to help the department with any emergency calls they need assistance with.
