BELTON, Texas (KWTX) A non-profit organization that uses religion to help former inmates is getting ready for it annual banquet.

For nearly 30 years, J.A.I.L Ministry Inc. has been guiding and helping those behind bars or those who are recently released with spiritual guidance classes.
In order to keep its doors open an annual event that helps cover expenses that arise.
Steve Cannon, executive director, says more people are reaching out for help.
He says the proceeds will go to "books, bibles and other Christian reading material for inmates incarcerated at the Bell County law enforcement centers."
Steve says the organization is growing.
He added, "We have a little bit over 800 right now, so we are a pretty big church."
