(January 28, 2008)--The Dixie Chicks' Martie Maguire and her husband, Gareth, are expecting a third daughter.
Maguire announced the pregnancy Monday on the group's Web site.
She said the baby is due in late summer.
The group’s publicist confirmed the report.
Maguire wrote on the Web site that her daughters Eva and Katie are "very excited to have a new baby sister." And that three girls is a "magic number!"
The 38-year-old Maguire plays fiddle and mandolin in the Dixie Chicks, a trio whose hits include "Wide Open Spaces," "Without You, "Landslide" and "Travelin' Soldier."
