“King of the Hill” Creator To Be Honored
The Texas Film Hall of Fame will honor the creator of TV’s “King of the Hill”.

(February 13, 2008)--Mike Judge, the creator of TV's "King of the Hill,”and actress Morgan Fairchild will be inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame on March 7.

The Austin Film Society says Judge and Fairchild will join previously announced inductees Thomas Haden Church, Jayne Mansfield and the film "Urban Cowboy."

Her daughter, actress Mariska Hargitay, will accept Mansfield’s award.

The award for "Urban Cowboy" will be accepted by one of its stars, Debra Winger.

Judge, who lives in Austin, is the voice of the main character Hank Hill.

His other projects include "Beavis and Butt-Head" and "Office Space."

Fairchild is a Dallas native who's known for numerous film and TV roles, including "Falcon Crest."

Another Texas native, former CBS anchor Dan Rather, will be master of ceremonies.
