Brooks Benefit Concerts Gets More Than Money
Brooks explains one of his more embarrassing moments on stage with Leno
Font Size:

(February 21, 2008)-- Garth Brooks says his recent benefit concerts raised nearly seven million dollars.

Brooks was on the "Tonight Show" last night.

Last month, Brooks played five shows over three days to help victims of last year's Southern California wildfires and firefighters.

But playing live can have its embarrassing moments.

Brooks told Jay Leno about a show last November in Kansas City, Missouri, where a bra thrown from the audience got tangled up in his headset mic.

He says that had to be the one show he brought his young daughters to see.

Brooks adds that he's experienced just about everything during concerts, but the bra incident caused him to fold like "a cheap pair of socks."
