Former Beach Boy To Release New Album
Former Beach Boy Brian Wilson plans to release a new album on his old label.

(May 20, 2008)—Ex Beach boy Brian Wilson plans to release a new album on his old label.

Wilson will release "That Lucky Old Sun" on Capitol Records, which was The Beach Boys' original label back in 1962.

The album will combine songs and narratives inspired by the 1949 song "That Lucky Old Sun."

Wilson says the album is an "interwoven series of rounds with interspersed spoken word."

The album comes out Sept. 2.
