(August 12, 2008)—Country performer Wynonna Judd says she heads to her Kentucky farm and plays in the dirt with her kids and their friends to find balance in her life.
She told Wisconsin’s Madison Capital Times, "We eat popsicles and we run around and get really dirty and get those dirt rings around our necks."
Judd says life on the road can be tough.
"You tend to get in an isolated womb of a bus and you can think really bad thoughts if you're not careful,” she said.
But she says she wouldn't want to do anything else.
"It's a crazy life, I will admit. It's not for everyone, but I was born to do it. I think I have a purpose and I have found mine."
Judd has a new album due out this fall.
