(August 25, 2008)--The comedy "Tropic Thunder” remained tops at the box office for a second-straight week over the weekend, taking in $16.1 million in ticket sales.

No. 2 was "The House Bunny," which took in $15.1 million, followed by "Death Race" in third place at $12.3 million.

There were two other wide releases, but they did poorly.

One of them was "The Longshots," the latest Ice Cube movie which co-stars Keke Palmer as his football-playing niece.

It opened eighth with $4.3 million dollars in receipts.

Rainn Wilson's "The Rocker" finished out of the top 10 altogether, finishing 12th with less than $3 million gross.
