(September 2, 2008)--The Musicians' Village in New Orleans appears to be intact after a glancing blow from Hurricane Gustav.

Harry Connick, Jr. and Branford Marsalis built the group of homes through Habitat for Humanity after Hurricane Katrina for musicians who had lost their homes.

The homes seem to have survived the hurricane.

On one porch, a banner that reads "Welcome Friends" is still hanging.
