Billy Ray Helps Miley Celebrate Her Sweet 16th Save Email Print

(October 7, 2008)--Billy Ray Cyrus says his daughter, Miley, is "really hard to surprise,” so for her 16th birthday, she got an over-the-top party at Disneyland and a new puppy.

Disneyland was closed to the public for the event to make way for an estimated 5,000 guests, 16 giant inflatable candles and a fireworks display above Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Billy Ray sang a few songs for the crowd, including "Achy Breaky Heart," before Miley took the spotlight for a four-song set.

Other stars in attendance included David Archuleta, Steve Carell, Cindy Crawford, Tyra Banks and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Miley's actual birthday is not until Nov. 23.
