(October 13, 2008)—“Beverly Hills Chihuahua" is the nation's number-one movie for the second straight week, but more than that, a Disney movie studio executive says there are reports that a lot of adults are going to see the movie without children in tow.
Whatever the trend, the film remains number one with $17.5 million over the weekend and a 10-day total of $52.5 million.
The number-two movie is "Quarantine," with $14.2 million, followed by "Body of Lies," which took in $13.1 million, despite a star-studded cast featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe.
