The Hill College Performing Arts Series will present a Christmas Concert of the Hunt Family Fiddlers on Thurs., Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Vara Martin Daniel Performing Arts Center on the Hillsboro Campus.
The Hunt Family Fiddlers are an award winning family of Irish step dancers, fiddlers and singers that marvel crowds everywhere! This family of nine performs Celtic, bluegrass, inspirational and popular tunes, offering a unique blend of diversity to every show. Audiences love to experience their high-powered step dancing, fast fiddling, and vocal harmonies, as well as their other instrumental talents including drums, accordion, keyboard and guitar. Songwriters and performers Clint and Sandy, along with their seven children have released four albums and have won numerous awards in fiddle, Irish dance and singing contests around the nation and the world.
The Hunts have produced and recorded four albums: “Table for Two”, “Dance in the Field”, “Be Thou My Vision” and “Christmas with the Hunts!” They have authored and published “101 Sizzling Tips for Excellence on the Violin” and “Fiddle Book;” and have produced “The Hunt Family DVD.”
They will amaze you with their high-class performance and capture your heart with their charm!
