Strait, Travis Nominated For Dove Awards
George Strait and Randy Travis are among the nominees for Dove awards.

(February 24, 2009)--George Strait, Randy Travis and the Oak Ridge Boys are among the nominees for the Gospel Music Association's Dove Awards.
Strait's "I Saw God Today and the Oak Ridge Boys' "Did I Make a Difference" are up for top country recorded song.
Travis' "Around the Bend" and a song from former Lonestar frontman Richie McDonald, called "I Turn to You" are nominated in the top country album category.
"How Great Thou Art: Gospel Favorites From the Grand Ole Opry" and the soundtrack from the movie "Billy: The Early Years" are nominated for special event album.
The award ceremony is April 23 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
