The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) is a parody of Shakespeare’s plays with all of them performed in condensed form by three actors. It is a face-paced, comedic romp through Shakespearean works. Written by the Reduced Shakespeare Company, it has been London’s longest-playing comedy. The Montreal Gazzette has described it as "…the funniest show you are likely to see in your entire lifetime". The Daily Variety has written that it is a "A madcap condensation that features non-stop laughs. Done at a whirlwind pace and with great delight, they are sure to win over even the most skeptical. And there is no doubt that William Shakespeare himself... would approve."
