NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 29, 2009)--Kenny Chesney will tape an episode of public television's popular show "Austin City Limits," which will air sometime in the fall.

A spokesman for Chesney says the 41-year-old country singer will tape the program May 12 in Austin.

Chesney joins a long list of recording artists to appear on the show, including Van Morrison, Ray Charles, Willie Nelson, the Allman Brothers, Tom Waits and Merle Haggard.

Chesney will release his second greatest hits collection on May 19.
