Enjoy the warm weather, cool tunes and dance the night away with Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band proudly brought to Fort Hood’s Hood Stadium on May 30 by the USO and Fort Hood Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation.

FORT HOOD, TX 26 May 2009 – Enjoy the warm weather, cool tunes and dance the night away with Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band proudly brought to Fort Hood’s Hood Stadium on May 30 by the USO and Fort Hood Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation.

Gary Sinise starred as Lt. Dan in the box office hit “Forrest Gump” and has been traveling the world the past few years with his band, performing in support of our troops.

Come early as gates open at 4:00pm and a free outdoor screening of “Forrest Gump” will be shown at 4:30pm. The free concert will begin at 7:00pm. Hood Stadium will be transformed into an upbeat, rocking good time complete with two dance floors and an elaborate stage.

This all-age, fun-filled family event will also feature free inflatables for the kids, free hot dogs and free beverages.

Tickets are not required; the event is free and open to the public. Hood Stadium is located on Railhead Drive, on Fort Hood. When attending this event, gate access will be granted at all vehicles. A Department of Defense decal is not required; a valid driver’s license or government issued identification card must be presented by those in the vehicle.
