NEW YORK (June 5, 2009)--Dolly Parton is in the running for her first Tony Award this Sunday.
She'll find out Sunday night if she won for best original score for writing the music and lyrics to "9 to 5: The Musical."
Parton remembers writing the theme song 30 years ago while she was on the set of the "9 to 5" movie.
She said she used her acrylic fingernails to make the sound of a typewriter and the song wrote itself from there.
Parton will perform on the show.
