WAILEA, Hawaii (June 24, 2009)--Willie Nelson had to go to Maui to pick up his latest award.
The Maui Film Festival honored Nelson with its Maverick Award for continuing to make music and for FarmAid, for being an activist for peace and renewable energy and more.
Nelson is releasing an album of standards on Aug. 25.
It has a title with a double meaning: "American Classic."
