ARLINGTON (July 8, 2009)--Paul McCartney is coming to the new Cowboys Stadium on Aug. 19.

The former Beatles star is the latest big name added to the list of performers at the $1.15 billion facility that opened earlier this summer.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on July 20 and may be purchased at Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 or online at ticketmaster.com.

McCartney performs a sold out three-date run in July at New York’s Citi Field.

He’s also scheduled to perform two shows at Boston's Fenway Park and at Atlanta's Piedmont Park, FedEx Field in Landover, Md. and Halifax Commons in Halifax, NS.
