LAS VEGAS (July 15, 2009)--Cirque du Soleil made The Beatles music come alive, and now the troupe is doing it for Elvis Presley.
An as-yet-unnamed show will open in December in Las Vegas that will combine Elvis' music with acrobatics and dance, similar to The Beatles' "Love" show.
Director Vincent Paterson described the show as "an abstract biography of Elvis Presley."
Creative director Armand Thomas said it's going to be energetic, sexy and funny, in Elvis' kind of humor.
