LeAnn Rimes To Become Professor Rimes, At Least For A Day

CAMARILLO, Calif. (August 25, 2009)--LeAnn Rimes has been chosen as a guest speaker in a college lecture series because of her experience in the music business.
Rimes will talk about that experience on Oct. 14 in a class at California State University Channel Islands.
A spokeswoman for the college says Rimes "is not planning on singing" as part of her lecture.
Other high-powered entertainment types to speak on other nights during the class include the president of the Recording Academy, the president of Dick Clark Productions and the guy who manages both Rimes and Brad Paisley.
