NEW YORK (September 9, 2009)—"The Beatles: Rock Band" is in stores Wednesday and so are the Beatles’ re-mastered albums.

The video game allows players to sing three-part harmony while playing on instruments modeled after The Beatles' own.

Fans are also able to hear previously unreleased studio chatter from Abbey Road sessions.

The re-mastered CDs will be embedded for a short time with brief documentaries on the making of that particular album.

Critics are raving about the sound quality of the albums and the video game.

A full collection of the new CDs costs about $280.

The surge in Beatles sales comes more than four decades after the four musicians from Liverpool broke up after a series of business and artistic disputes.
