TLC Shuts Down Filming Of “Jon & Kate” Kids

NEW YORK (October 1, 2009)—The TLC network says it has shut down filming of the children on "Jon & Kate Plus 8" after receiving a cease-and-desist order from the kids’ father, Jon Gosselin.
In a statement, the network said production would remain suspended "pending further conversations" between both Gosselins, who are parents of young twins and sextuplets.
Filming not involving the kids continues, TLC said.
The Insider Web site reported Thursday that Jon Gosselin demanded through lawyers that the TLC production crew vacate the property of the family home in Pennsylvania.
The Gosselins filed for divorce in June.
On Monday, TLC announced that the weekly series would be renamed "Kate Plus Eight," with a reduced involvement by Jon Gosselin, who the network says remains under exclusive contract.

Someone needs to take those kids and put them in a better home. Then TLC can get together with these 2 idiots and film all they want. Call it "Jon and Kate, two idiots who contribute nothing to society and should be sent back to the obscurity from which they came"........or something like that, lol.
